Basketball Recap: Olivia Wise and Emma Murray Secure Win for Columbus Christian

Columbus Christian came into Thursday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Christian Academy of Madison Defenders with a sharp 43-22 victory on Thursday. The Crusaders not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since December 14, 2024.

Leading Columbus Christian to victory were Emma Murray and Olivia Wise. Murray dropped a double-double with 15 points and 15 boards, while Wise went 5-for-8 to rack up 11 points and eight rebounds. Columbus Christian is 10-3 when Murray posts ten or more rebounds, but 4-8 otherwise. Eva Blair was another key player, putting up nine points and five boards.
