After losing to Douglass the last time they met, Luella decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Luella Lions walked away with a 69-57 win over the Douglass Astros on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Lions who have now won four contests in a row.

Luella has also been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.1 points per game. As for Douglass, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Luella will host Cedar Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Grove will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Luella surely won't give up without a fight. As for Douglass, they will be playing at home against Stone Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Douglass is facing Stone Mountain at the right time seeing as Stone Mountain is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
