Mintz Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Fayetteville Christian Warriors. Winning may never get old, but the Lions sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row dating back to last season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mintz Christian Academy took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11, 25-11.

Looking ahead, Mintz Christian Academy will welcome Berean Baptist Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fayetteville Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Arendell Parrott Academy on the 12th.
