 York County Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They fell  11-7 to the Fairfield Knights. That's two games in a row now that York County Tech has lost by  exactly four  runs.
  Brody Dedrick put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out ten over eight innings pitched. Dedrick was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-5.
 In other batting news,  Jacob Combs made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-5 with four  RBI.
 York County Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Fairfield, their victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-12.
 York County Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fairfield, they will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Christian School of York at 4:15  p.m. Christian School of York is coming into the  contest with five straight  wins on the road,  so Fairfield will have to stop a  squad with plenty of momentum.
