Baseball Recap: Shadle Park Triumphs

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Shadle Park ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Walla Walla Blue Devils 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Highlanders have posted since April 17th.

Mason Allison looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Shadle Park is 4-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 7-9 otherwise.

The victory got Shadle Park back to even at 11-11. As for Walla Walla, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.
