Volleyball Recap: Reagan Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Columbus, Reagan was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Palmetto Panthers by a score of 2-0. The Bison were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Panthers, so the Bison were just returning the favor.

Yeison Gonzalez paced Reagan's offense, picking up 15 kills. Gonzalez got some help from Diego Requena and his 25 assists. Gonzalez was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Reagan's record is now 14-2. As for Palmetto, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Reagan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Southwest on the 11th. As for Palmetto, they will face off against Braddock at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. The match will give the Panthers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
