Basketball Recap: Plainview's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Amarillo, Plainview was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 53-42 win over the Lubbock-Cooper Pirates. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Plainview's win bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Lubbock-Cooper, their record is now 9-12.

Plainview and Lubbock-Cooper should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Plainview will face off against Palo Duro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 264 places (148 vs. 412). Similarly, Lubbock-Cooper (ranked 213th) will meet Caprock (ranked 714th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
