Volleyball Recap: Quitman Bulldogs vs. Edgewood Bulldogs
Quitman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edgewood Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Quitman of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.
The final score came out to 25-20, 20-25, 25-23, 25-13.
Quitman's record is now 13-17. As for Edgewood, the win got them back to even at 16-16.
Quitman will be playing at home against Eustace at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Eustace is coming into the game with five straight victories on the road, so Quitman will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for Edgewood, they will head out to challenge Grand Saline at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
