Bearden gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They strolled past the Greeneville Greene Devils with points to spare, taking the game 72-55. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Greene Devils recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Despite the loss, Greeneville had strong showings from Brylee Tullock, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds, and Maria Lyde, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Woolsey, who posted nine points.

Coming up, Bearden will face off against King's Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Greeneville, they will head out to face off against Sevier County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
