Sawyer Speece posted a new career-high in runs on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Osage City's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-6 when he doesn't).

Speece's strong effort led Osage City over Wabaunsee and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians are 7-2 against the Chargers going back to May of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
