Basketball Recap: Crow Creek Takes a Loss

Crow Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 70-48 to the Winner Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chieftains of the 49-18 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Crow Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Winner, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5.

Crow Creek will head out on the road to challenge Stanley County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Winner, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton at 7:00 p.m.
