Soccer Game Preview: Pearce vs. Richardson

The Pearce Mustangs will face off against the Richardson Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, Pearce came up short against Dallas Jesuit and fell 4-2. While losing is never fun, Pearce can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Dallas Jesuit are ranked 20th).

Meanwhile, Richardson has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 13. They and Irving finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Monday.

Richardson's draw gives them a new season record of 2-4-4. As for Pearce, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4-2.

Pearce got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in February of 2025 against Richardson by a conclusive 4-1 score. In that match, the Mustangs amassed a halftime lead of 3-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
