Baseball Game Preview: Warren Warriors vs. Hardin Hornets

For the second straight game, Warren will face off against Hardin. The Warriors will square off against the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Warren beat Hardin 6-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Levi Ledbetter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on five hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Easton Evans was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February. Cyrus Cimei was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

With the loss, Hardin broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-7. As for Warren, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Warren has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Hardin struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
