Basketball Recap: Owatonna Takes a Loss

After flying high against Austin last Thursday, Owatonna came back down to earth. The Owatonna Huskies lost 71-45 to the Delano Tigers on Saturday.

Owatonna has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for Delano, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Owatonna will take on Winona at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Delano, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Delano Tigers take on the Alexandria Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Alexandria knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 contests -- so hopefully Delano likes a good challenge.
