Soccer Recap: Burlingame Comes Up Short

Burlingame was the 2-1 winner over Aragon when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Burlingame Panthers fell just short of the Aragon Dons by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 710th, while the Dons are ranked 240th).

Burlingame's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-2. As for Aragon, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3-2.

Burlingame wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Carlmont on the 31st. As for Aragon, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-3 win against South San Francisco on the 31st.
