Volleyball Game Preview: Lutheran Gryphons vs. St. Martin's Episcopal Saints

The Lutheran Gryphons are taking a road trip to challenge the St. Martin's Episcopal Saints at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lutheran is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Lutheran managed to slip by Grand Isle the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Gryphons came up short against the Trojans on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, St. Martin's Episcopal lost 3-0 to McGehee on Thursday. The Saints have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for St. Martin's Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Lutheran might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from St. Martin's Episcopal in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Gryphons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
