Softball Recap: Seymour Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Seymour put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Moulton-Udell Eagles with a sharp 9-1 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in June of 2024.

Seymour's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games. As for Moulton-Udell, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Seymour will head out on the road to face off against Moravia at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Mohawks at the right time seeing as the Mohawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Moulton-Udell, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Central Decatur at 7:00 p.m.
