Softball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Good Hope's Eighth in Last Ten Outings

Good Hope's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over the Elmore County Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Raiders have posted since February 13th.

Good Hope is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. Elmore County is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.

Coming up, Good Hope will venture away from home to take on West Morgan at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elmore County, they have already played their next match, a 7-2 defeat against Olentangy Berlin on the 26th.
