Football Recap: Carver Montgomery Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Carver Montgomery had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Thompson Warriors and fell 37-6. The game was a 6-6 toss-up at halftime, but the Wolverines couldn't quite close it out.

Trent Seaborn had an outrageously good game for Thompson as he threw for 288 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in one rushing score. 115 of Seaborn's passing yards were hauled in by Pryce Lewis.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver Montgomery will challenge Percy Julian at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Thompson, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Grayson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
