Football Recap: Carver Montgomery Falls to Thompson in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Carver Montgomery had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Thompson Warriors 37-6 on Thursday. The match was a 6-6 toss-up at halftime, but the Wolverines couldn't quite close it out.

Zion Crumpton threw for 63 yards on 11 of 17 attempts.

Trent Seaborn was a one-man wrecking crew For Thompson. as he threw for 288 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in one rushing score. A healthy portion of Seaborn's aerial production (115 yards to be exact) went to Pryce Lewis.

Carver Montgomery has already played their next contest, a 39-6 win against Percy Julian on the 30th. As for Thompson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 24-23 loss against Grayson on the 29th.
