Basketball Recap: Boyne City Comes Up Short

Boyne City suffered their biggest defeat since December 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 55-29 to the Harbor Springs Rams. While losing is never fun, the Ramblers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Rams are ranked 64th).

Boyne City's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Harbor Springs, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Boyne City will square off against Kalkaska at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harbor Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Elk Rapids at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Elk Rapids has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.
