Basketball Recap: Conrad Science Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

If Conrad Science was riding high fresh off their 76-48 takedown of Concord last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Conrad Science Red Wolves fell just short of the St. Georges Tech Hawks by a score of 50-47 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Red Wolves have suffered since December 17, 2023.

Joshua Obiora went supernova for St. Georges Tech, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. Obiora has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Harold Best, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

Conrad Science's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.

Conrad Science will head out to face off against Mount Pleasant at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Georges Tech, they will challenge Delcastle Technical at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
