            Baseball Recap: Fort Lee Bridgemen vs. Emerson Cavaliers        
        
		
        
        
            Fort Lee barely beat Emerson the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Fort Lee put the hurt on Emerson with a sharp  10-4 victory on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Bridgemen, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Bradley Li looked comfortable as he  struck out six batters over  two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and only one walk).
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Chris Kim, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  triple. Another player making a difference was  Stephan Kim, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run.

 Fort Lee was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .435. The last time their  batting average was this high was  back in April of 2024.
The  win  got Fort Lee back to even at 1-1.
 Fort Lee and Emerson will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next  games. The next time Fort Lee sees the field they'll take on Mahwah  at 4:15  p.m.  on April 2. As for Emerson, their break will end when they face Glen Rock  at 4:00  p.m.  on April 1.
