Softball Recap: Paducah Tilghman Takes a Loss

Paducah Tilghman has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.97 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They lost 10-2 to the McCracken County Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 5-1 loss on May 5th.

Zoe Burch was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Audreya White, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Paducah Tilghman's defeat dropped their record down to 22-10. As for McCracken County, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 29-5.

As of now, neither Paducah Tilghman nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
