Basketball Recap: Mountain House Skates Past East Union with Ease

On Saturday, the Mountain House Mustangs blew past the East Union Lancers, posting an 85-36 victory. That 49 point margin sets a new team best for the Mustangs this season.

Mountain House had a senior duo take command as Shamar Jones posted 19 points and five boards and Coldin Parker had 15 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Thomas Pinn, who posted four points and five steals.

The win made it two in a row for Mountain House and bumps their season record up to 9-7. As for East Union, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-7.

It'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when the Mountain House Mustangs face off against the Clovis North Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain House is facing Clovis North at the right time seeing as Clovis North is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for East Union, they will square off against Central Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
