Baseball Recap: Phillips Academy Falls Short Against Ranked Worcester Academy

Phillips Academy faced Worcester Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Big Blue fell 4-1 to the Hilltoppers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hilltoppers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-5 on Saturday.

Phillips Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jun An, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Phillips Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Worcester Academy, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Phillips Academy will head out to take on Governor's Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Worcester Academy, they will face off against Austin Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
