Baseball Recap: Edna Takes a Loss

Edna fell victim to Hallettsville and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Hallettsville Brahmas, falling 12-0. The Cowboys' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Edna saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trevor Floyd, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple was Floyd's first of the season.

Edna's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Hallettsville, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Looking ahead, Edna will be playing at home against Palacios at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hallettsville, they are taking a road trip to challenge Rice Consolidated at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
