For the second straight game, Arp will face off against Gladewater. The Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Arp is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Arp is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 22 runs two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Gladewater on Tuesday. They lost 14-2 to the Bears. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Arp saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Sanford, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

The win (which was Gladewater's third in a row) raised their record to 9-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Arp, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-8-1.
