Soccer Game Preview: Denver Christian vs. Stargate School + How To Watch

The Denver Christian Thunder will square off against the Stargate School Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Denver Christian managed to slip by Kent Denver the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Thunder came up short against the Sun Devils on Tuesday, falling 6-0. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, Denver Christian's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Stargate School's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against Prospect Ridge Academy by a score of 3-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Stargate School's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Prospect Ridge Academy are ranked 178th).

Stargate School hit Prospect Ridge Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Shane Frahm, Kellen McGilvray, and Luke Oyer.

Stargate School's victory bumped their record up to 8-3-3. As for Denver Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
