Basketball Recap: Liberty's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak at Home

Liberty entered their game against Issaquah on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Liberty Patriots took a hard 67-53 fall against the Issaquah Eagles. If the Patriots were looking for revenge after losing 60-40 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Liberty's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-1. As for Issaquah, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

When Liberty and Issaquah next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Liberty will try to stop North Thurston's six-game winning streak when the meet at 3:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Meanwhile, Issaquah will square off against Redmond and their seven-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
