Volleyball Recap: Grandview Heights Comes Up Short

Grandview Heights lost against Columbus Academy on September 9th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bobcats came up short against the Vikings, falling 3-0. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-9, 25-18.

Despite the defeat, Grandview Heights saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Callie Rutter had 11 digs and one assist.

Grandview Heights' loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Columbus Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Grandview Heights didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Columbus School for Girls on the 30th. As for Columbus Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Bexley on the 30th.
