Baseball Game Preview: Round Mountain Knights vs. Spring Mountain Eagles

For the first time this season, Round Mountain will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will challenge the Spring Mountain Eagles at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Round Mountain lost 17-7 to Pahranagat Valley last Friday.

Blake Bullington made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole five bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Hayden Swafford was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Spring Mountain was a bit more limited in their contest on March 8th. They came up short against Milford, falling 20-1.

Spring Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Round Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Round Mountain suffered a grim 16-1 defeat to Spring Mountain when the teams last played back in April of 2019. Can Round Mountain avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
