Basketball Recap: King's Academy Comes Up Short

King's Academy lost against Pee Dee Academy last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The King's Academy Lions had to suffer through a 49-11 loss at the hands of the Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles. The matchup marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for King's Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Pee Dee Academy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

King's Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Thomas Sumter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025. As for Pee Dee Academy, they will face off against Aynor at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
