Devin Wood and Christian Dawson provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Clermont Northeastern. The connection went for 88 yards, the longest such play in Southern Buckeye - American this season.

Western Brown extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Rockets, 51-13. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Broncos.

Western Brown's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Wood threw for 293 and four touchdowns and Dawson had 140 yards receiving. On the ground Gunner Woodyard chipped in 99 yards. Pierce Moore helped Western Brown's passing attack out by catching four balls for 103 yards.

Hunter Hines made the biggest impact on defense this week as Goshen fell to Norwood. The 6-foot-0 sophomore grabbed one interception.

Evan Dreyer's team's Wood and Dawson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Wood has thrown for 1961 yards this season, while Dawson, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 31 catches for 692 yards. The Warriors' Marcus Casey leads the league in rushing yards with 1123.

Entering into this week's contest against Amelia, Wood is short just 39 passing yards to break 2,000 on the season.

A big matchup in Southern Buckeye - American this week will be when Western Brown takes on the Barons. The Broncos are in first place, while Amelia is in fourth place.

Randy Hospelhorn's team moved up to 437 from 506 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Barons were able to make the jump by beating New Richmond 48-24.
