Santa Monica has won five straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Capistrano Valley Christian has won five straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Santa Monica Vikings will host the Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles at 3:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Santa Monica: 2.7, Capistrano Valley Christian: 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Eddie Jennings spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up eight Ks. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Santa Monica has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Capistrano Valley Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.2 strikeouts.
