Volleyball Game Preview: Hutchinson Tigers vs. Delano Tigers

Hutchinson will challenge Delano at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hutchinson is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Mankato West just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Scarlets.

Meanwhile, Delano entered their tilt with Southwest Christian on Thursday with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Stars.

Delano was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-13, 25-16.

Hutchinson better focus on containing Kaelyn Wittwer and Braylee Rue as the pair were huge in Delano's win. Wittwer had 20 digs and two assists, while Rue had seven digs and two aces. That's the most digs Wittwer has posted over her last six contests.

Hutchinson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Delano, their win bumped their record up to 18-1.
