Basketball Recap: Mineral Springs Comes Up Short

After flying high against Oden last Tuesday, Mineral Springs came back down to earth. The Mineral Springs Hornets took a 59-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harmony Grove Cardinals on Thursday. The Hornets have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Mineral Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Harmony Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Mineral Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 74-39 win against Umpire on the 13th. As for Harmony Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-32 loss against Baptist Prep on the 13th.
