Amite entered their tilt with Springfield on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Their defense stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 47-0 shutout. That 47 point margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Amite's record is now 8-2. As for Springfield, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7.
