Basketball Recap: Averill Park Comes Up Short

Averill Park lost against Albany back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Averill Park Warriors took a 49-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Albany Falcons.

Averill Park dropped their record down to 10-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Albany, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Averill Park will challenge Christian Brothers Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Christian Brothers Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.7 points per game this season. As for Albany, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Ballston Spa at 6:30 p.m.
