There's no place like home for Dearborn, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. Everything went their way against the Wayne Memorial Zebras on Wednesday as they made off with a 14-4 win. This was a revenge game for the Pioneers: when they faced off against the Zebras last Monday, they had to take a 7-6 defeat.

Dearborn got a massive performance out of Rami Baydoun, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Bilal Berry, who scored four runs while going 3-for-4.

Baydoun wasn't the only one making solid contact: Dearborn kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wayne Memorial only managed six hits.

Dearborn's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-2. As for Wayne Memorial, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Dearborn will square off against Cass Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wayne Memorial, they will face off against Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
