Lafayette Christian extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Fionah Parajes. The Cougars came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Harvester Christian Academy Hawks with plenty of help from Parajes, who had 29 digs and one assist. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.7 digs per game.

Lafayette Christian was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (103-92), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 7-25, 25-23, 25-19, 15-11.

Lafayette Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Harvester Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Lafayette Christian will head out on the road to take on Central Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harvester Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hearts Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
