Volleyball Recap: Warren Central Takes a Loss

Warren Central lost against Lawrence North back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors lost 3-0 to the Wildcats. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18, 25-16.

Lawrence North's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anna Joostberns, who had 12 digs and four aces. Those 12 digs gave Joostberns a new career-high.

Warren Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lawrence North, their win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-6.

Coming up, Warren Central will head out to challenge Lawrence Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lawrence North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hamilton Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
