Baseball Recap: Logansport Takes a Loss

Logansport lost against Lafayette Central Catholic back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Berries fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2.

Bryson Herr made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Logansport's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Lafayette Central Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Logansport will head out on the road to take on Bremen at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. The Berries' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. As for Lafayette Central Catholic, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 win against Greencastle on the 17th.
