Volleyball Recap: West Muskingum Falls Despite Big Games from Lila Gibson and Brooke Beight

West Muskingum lost against Morgan back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tornadoes came up short against the Raiders, falling 3-0.

West Muskingum was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Morgan work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 28-26, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, West Muskingum had strong showings from Brooke Beight, who had 12 digs, and Lila Gibson, who had seven digs.

West Muskingum's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

West Muskingum has already played their next matchup (against Liberty Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Morgan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Coshocton on the 21st.
