Soccer Game Preview: South Lenoir vs. Heide Trask + How To Watch

South Lenoir is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Monday. They will host the Heide Trask Titans at 6:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Friday just wasn't the day for South Lenoir's offense. They fell just short of Lejeune by a score of 1-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, South Lenoir can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 291st, while Lejeune are ranked 100th).

Meanwhile, Heide Trask was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to Dixon. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 30, 2019, but that streak is no more.

Heide Trask's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-2. As for South Lenoir, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4-2.
