Peyton strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Mitchell Marauders 15-5. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won three games by nine runs or more so far this season.
Trenten Compton made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. Compton was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.
