Basketball Recap: Neosho Wildcats vs. Kickapoo Chiefs
Neosho was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Kickapoo Chiefs and fell 79-34. Zach Forsythe and Kaiden Asberry certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Forsythe went 5 for 8 en route to 12 points and six boards, while Asberry posted 15 points. The dominant performance also gave Forsythe a new career-high in steals (two). Another player making a difference was Mason Spiva, who put up three points.
Neosho's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Kickapoo, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 16-1.
