Kearns has gone a perfect 4-0 against Hillcrest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Cougars will take on the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. Kearns has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since August 15.

Kearns' offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against West Jordan on Friday. They were outmatched by the Jaguars and fell 77-0.

Meanwhile, Hillcrest came up short against Taylorsville on Friday and fell 35-28.

Kearns will have to contain K'Von Houston as he made an impact in Hillcrest's last game. He threw for 283 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 30 yards and one score. Houston is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played. A healthy portion of Houston's aerial production (102 yards to be exact) went to Miles Ence, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Kearns, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything came up roses for Kearns against Hillcrest in their previous matchup back in October of 2018, as the team secured a 49-0 victory. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
