The Manitou Springs Mustangs will face off against The Classical Academy Titans at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Manitou Springs headed into their last  match having not scored more than two  runs for three straight, but Woodland Park let them put that streak behind them. Manitou Springs put the hurt on Woodland Park with a sharp  14-1 win on Tuesday. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive  victory against them.
 Preston Rhodes made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit over five innings pitched. What's more,  he gave up only zero  earned runs, the fewest he's  had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances. What's more,  he posted two  RBI, the most he's  had since back in April of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Hayden Martinez was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing  Three bases. while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Maxton Bolster, who  scored two  runs and  stole  Two bases. while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, The Classical Academy put another one in the bag  on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by  an  11-1 margin over St. Mary's. Considering the Titans have won three contests by more than nine  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
The team  relied heavily on  Zack Hale, who  fired off two  home runs and three  RBI while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Carter Patrick, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 The Classical Academy  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  launched at least two  home runs in three consecutive  games.
 Manitou Springs' first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for The Classical Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
 Manitou Springs took their  win against The Classical Academy  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024 by a conclusive  7-0. Will Manitou Springs repeat their success,  or does  The Classical Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
