Basketball Recap: Bridger Salvevold Key Part of a Team Effort in Cowboys Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Savage, Culbertson was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They blew past the Brockton Warriors 65-40. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cowboys considering their 30-point performance the match before.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Culbertson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bridger Salvevold, who went 7 of 10 en route to 16 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Salvevold has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooks Solem, who went 7 of 10 en route to 16 points and three steals.

Culbertson's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Brockton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Coincidentally, Culbertson and Brockton will both be playing Bainville the next time they take the court. Culbertson will host Bainville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Brockton will head out to face them on Saturday.
